What is New in Amazon and in Google?

It's somehow the end of February already. I'm reminded of an illustration showing a 90 year human life in a few graphics. It can be shocking to see where we are on our journey. And I'm not sure why, but somehow it made me want to work harder, move faster and do better. If you made plans to create the best year ever, see if you are on track. Do something today and every day to line up where you want to be with where you are right now.

This week, we want to share a couple of new nuggets for you.  It is always exciting to learn what is new in Amazon and learn of a new player we can maybe use later on.

It is a hard question that unfortunately, most brands today do not know the answer to. New marketplace competition will scale significantly to compete with Amazon.  One new player creating a buzz right now is Google Shopping Actions.

Google keeps improving, and while this news isn't brand new, it is the voice search possibilities that are under appreciated here.

Also watch for all the large big-box stores and platforms to form and launch their own marketplaces, enhancing their catalog and also enriching the online shopping experience. Amazon will be the biggest player for a long time, but keep an eye on who is building out great online shopping experiences that we can take advantage of.
